Teaming up with Adidas and Despers USA during Labor Day weekend, there was a performance and workshop by the internationally recognized steel pan group. Steel pan has roots in Trinidad & Tobago but is very prevalent in almost all forms of West Indian music. The workshop provided context, appreciation and educational components to explain the contributions of the community and diaspora.
